Chinese’s booming tourism trend: Trip to Copenhagen

A lot of visitors from China come to Copenhagen for tourism and the Danish tourism industry seems to be vigorous by them.

  Chinese tourists are on their way to traveling the Northern Europe, especially Copenhagen in Denmark. Due to the statistics, tourists from China generally spend four times more money than other tourists, and their expenditures seem to lead vitality in Danish tourism industry.

  Experts mentioned that Chinese tourists are increasing as the route between two countries became more accessible. However Chinese tourists have more various reasons for visiting Copenhagen. “I am visiting here because I heard that Copenhagen is the heart of Scandinavian Peninsula. Therefore, I thought Copenhagen will have lots of tourism sites and landmarks which might show the Scandinavian culture.” said May Ling, a Chinese student who came to Copenhagen for traveling.

    According to the findings, Copenhagen started to be flocked by Chinese tourists since 2010 and the population of them is still increasing steadily. Denmark should be aware of this fact and prepare specific planning for this situation.
