There are many different people at the Democratic Youth Festival in Copenhagen. Especially a lot of young students in Primary School or High School, who have been giving assignments to do on the festival. And then there are children like the ones from the Danish Minority Group in Germany.
They have been preparing for this event for a long time. There are 20 representatives here at the festival, and they’re all wearing t-shirts with the slogan: “Danskerne findes i mange modeller,” which means: ”Danes come in different types.”
“We have Muslims, we have Jews, we have the Christian people. But even though we are different, we are all Danes,” says Student Ambassador Jorith Köpnick.
The organisation is here to work for the Boarder Association to promote the minority groups in Denmark.
