Four days. 19 musical acts. Danish and international tastes mixing together. This is JOURNEY fest.
JOURNEY was organized by the booking company smash!bang!pow! and was designed to be an alternative music event where people could buy cheap tickets to see both big headliners and smaller artists that they might not know.
“We want to establish ourselves as a platform for good upcoming music,” said JOURNEY’s project manager Christian Thomasen.
One such upcoming artist performing at JOURNEY was Schultz & Forever, an indie solo project from Danish singer Jonathan Schultz.
“The music scene in Denmark is very very different,” Schultz said. “People make a lot of different things now. It is very diverse actually.”
