If you plan on buying a house or an apartment in Copenhagen, you will have to get more money out of your pocket than last year.

Property prices will rise through 2021, the National Bank of Denmark predicts in its forecast for the real estate market.

Over the past years the prices has been increasing steadily for both apartments and houses, and it seems that 2021 will not be any different, and the reason is the covid-19 pandemic.

“People have not been able to travel, or spend money like they used to, so a lot of couples and families are looking to upgrade their housing conditions” says Mira Lie Nielsen, housing economist for Nykredit Bank.
