Copenhagen dresses in blue and yellow during March

For the first time, a foreign flag joins the Danish flag in the capital of the Nordic country. The reason: to show support for the Ukrainian community.

Between blue and yellow, accompanied by red and white. As of Tuesday 8 March, the Copenhagen train station was filled with new colors, an event that has had an impact on social media:

But the sharing of this Ukrainian emblem in different parts of the capital is not an isolated event. The Ukrainian flag flies also next to the Danish flag at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. That is something that stands out from the norm because special permission is needed for it. So protocol was bypassed to show Apollo to Ukraine and its people.

Public and private authorities in the Nordic country will be able to raise the flags until 30 March.
