Fifteen fateful minutes forever changed the lives of several families on July 3rd. A man opened fire in Field’s, a Copenhagen mall, killing three people and leaving 27 wounded.

The Copenhagen regional authority has commissioned a task force to establish if further mental health initiatives could have made a difference.

“We must do everything to learn from this,” Health Minister Magnus Heunicke stated with regional committee executive Peter Westermann.

The report is expected by the end of this month.

Field’s refused to comment and declined recording inside the property.
