Astralis is the biggest organization from Denmark competing in Counter-Strike. They were once giants of the game and dominated the entire esports scene in 2018-2019. However, after missing out on five majors in a row, the organization is said to be on the brink of bankruptcy.

Sources have told Martin Rosenbæk, head of HLTV, that the former owner of North and COO of NIP, Jonas Gundersen, is setting his sights on the Danish organization. But what does that mean for Astralis Nexus – the fan hub, official store and home of the Astralis team?

Astralis Nexus might have to be renamed if the brand or organization that is Astralis is set to be sold. The workers inside Astralis Nexus are aware of the possibility that there may not be an Astralis in the future.

Emil Jensen, a worker, told us that there is something looming in the air, and a possible rename could happen if the sale goes through. Possibly to Red Bull Nexus. Allegedly, a potential sale price for Astralis as a brand is said to be between 13–20 million Danish kroner, but whether a name change is happening, the Nexus facility is here to stay.
